Miss Whiplash ‘near-death ordeal’


Infamous former prostitute Lindi St Clair has spoken for the first time about a car crash in Herefordshire in which she nearly died. Ms St Clair, 57, known as Miss Whiplash, was trapped in her car for 22 hours after driving off a road near Risbury in February. She plunged 15ft (4.5m) down an embankment and was later spotted in her upturned Jeep Wrangler in the water.

Bath 22-14 Wasps


Bath produced a determined second-half showing to overcome a spirited Wasps side and move level on points with Leicester and Harlequins at the top. The hosts emerged from the break two points down, but a try from flanker Jonny Faamatuainu on the hour edged them into the lead. Penalties from Jeremy Staunton and Butch James duly preserved their advantage through to the final whistle.
